The hood actually stays up on my two-year-old, which no other towel we own manages. It's thin enough that it dries overnight on the rack but soaks up way more water than a regular towel. Bath time has gotten noticeably less chaotic.

Bought this for splash pad days and the organic cotton is genuinely soft against my daughter's skin, no scratchiness even when damp. Only gripe is it runs a bit long on her, she's petite for 2, so the hem drags a little. Dries fast enough between trips though.
